Perched just above the East End Road along St. Croix’s beach-studded northeast coastline, Nirvana is an eco-friendly villa that you’ll admire as well as enjoy. Renewable bamboo graces the floors and a windmill contributes to power needs. Clear, glass-louvered windows admit nature’s cooling breezes to soothe you while maximizing sea scents and views that will restore you.

Stroll through a peaceful, private courtyard to enter this pretty yellow and green home trimmed with green shutters. Two cozy seating areas in the living room invite you to settle in for cocktails or watch your favorites on a flat-screen TV.

The kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up a pitcher of welcome margaritas or for preparing a full meal. Black granite counter tiles, hanging pendant lights and a mahogany bar on the stove peninsula all contribute sophisticated style to this space. A round red table nearby seats six; dine here with a captivating view to the pool patio below and sea beyond.

To the right of the great room area, the master bedroom’s king-sized bed is serenely situated with sea-tinted walls and views of Buck Island just offshore. The private bath has white wainscoting and green bead-board cabinets topped by granite for an appealing blend of cottage luxury with island style. An open shower brings a tropical feel to this peaceful master suite.

At the west side of the home, a second bedroom with sea-glass blue walls has a green-walled bathroom with shower. This bathroom is shared by a third bedroom decorated with pale green walls. Both of these bedrooms feature cottage-style white wooden furniture and queen beds.

A small studio cottage to the west of the house sports its own patio with a table and chairs. Inside, burnt orange accents and African print fabrics adorn a dark wood king-size daybed. The cottage has a brown-tiled private bathroom and mini-kitchen to complete the suite.

The centerpiece of Nirvana is a delightful pool area on the north side of the house facing the sea and Buck Island. White Chippendale-style railings frame beautiful views of the Caribbean whether you are swimming your morning laps, practicing your Yoga or watching boats glide by from the nearby St. Croix Yacht Club. A charming, curtained gazebo will become your favorite spot for burgers by the pool or pre-dinner drinks.

Nirvana’s location means you’ll have easy access along the East End Road to many of the island’s most enjoyable attractions and amenities. Turn left (west) leaving the house to drive to Green Cay Marina, Gallows Bay or Christiansted, all just 15 to 20 minutes away. These locations all offer sightseeing, golf, water sports, shopping and great restaurants. Or turn right (east) and cross the east end of the island for more beaches, restaurants and an evening of fun at the only casino in the Virgin Islands. From either direction, you can continue on toward the west end of the island for even more sightseeing and sporting options.

All homes are furnished including linens, towels, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Mid-stay maid service is provided one time per week for most bookings. A $500.00 damage deposit is required. Rates do not include an 8% Hotel Tax. 50% of the rental is required to confirm a reservation with the full balance due 45 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard. To avoid potential problems, we ask that you allow us to make your car reservation. We also suggest you purchase travel insurance.
