Strap on your mask and pull on your fins, you’ll be drawn to snorkel before you finish unpacking when you see the coral reefs that frame this breezy, oceanfront villa. Elegant Mediterranean style meets relaxed Caribbean charm here away from the crowds along St. Croix’s dramatic south shore.

Enter an art-filled great room and sink into cushioned seating surrounding an oriental rug, all of the furnishings in this home are selected for your comfort. A formal dining area provides substantial seating and the adjacent gourmet kitchen is well equipped with a table for four, marble counters, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and restaurant range for even the most particular chef.

French doors from the kitchen and great room lead to a sheltered gallery facing the stunning sea view, the perfect spot for that first morning coffee, rum drinks at sunset, or alfresco dining.

On the main level to the right, a room with a queen bed also has French doors that lead to the gallery. Or choose the dreamy master bedroom with king four-poster bed and an armoire referred to as a “press” by early-day Crucians. The huge master bath has twin sinks, a wood-framed spa tub, and a walk-in shower big enough for two.

On the left side of the great room, you’ll find a twin-bedded room with another press and private bath featuring a whirlpool tub and hand-held shower. Or descend to the pool level for the fourth bedroom in the main house, paired with a spacious cabana bath and walk-in shower.

The spectacular free-form oval pool with surrounding landscaped patio is irresistible for sunning and swimming. Or continue down a stairway to a sandy beach for a stroll or salt water “sea bath,” as West Indians say.

Throughout the villa custom touches abound like arched windows and distinctive tile work. International decorative elements have been lovingly assembled: carved furnishings, oriental area rugs, ornate mirrors, and signed works by well-known local artists. Surrounding the house are lush tropical plantings: coconut palms, frangipani, sea grape, yellow allamanda, and brilliant bougainvillea.

A guest cottage is set across the driveway with its own comfortable living room, kitchen perfect for morning coffee, separate four-poster bedroom, and bath with shower.

You’ll appreciate the convenience of the Divi Carina Bay Resort and casino just five minutes away and the colonial town of Christiansted, only a 15-minute drive. Yet most of all, you’ll bask in the sounds of the surf and delight in the utter peace and privacy waiting at Paradise Point.

All homes are furnished including linens, towels, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Mid-stay maid service is provided one time per week for most bookings. A $500.00 damage deposit is required. Rates do not include an 8% Hotel Tax. 50% of the rental is required to confirm a reservation with the full balance due 45 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard. To avoid potential problems, we ask that you allow us to make your car reservation. We also suggest you purchase travel insurance.
