Sugar Bird Rest is a charming 3-bedroom villa located on its very own beautiful white-sand beach. The beautiful aquamarine waters of the Caribbean lap its private beachfront endlessly.

It sits surrounded by Coconut Palms just 200 yards east of the Divi Resort and Casino on St. Croix’s exclusive East End—and laid-back south shore. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling at your doorstep.

Enjoy beachcombing, beach walks, shelling, reading, outdoor dining, sunrises and sunsets outside your own home. Sugar Bird’s Master Bedroom, Great Room and Kitchen all open directly onto its 50-foot open-air Gallery and all feature full ocean views. Sugar Bird is the perfect place for your most relaxing family vacation ever or a romantic getaway.

Inside, Sugar Bird Rest is decorated with colorful tropical fabrics and the artwork of local and Caribbean artists. Its fully appointed kitchen affords easy preparation of casual and formal meals. Outside Sugar Bird features immediate access to the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, which lap gently onto the Carina Bay shoreline just 50 feet away from this beachfront villa. Snorkel to Carina Bay’s own barrier reef which comes all the way to the shoreline. You have easy beach access to it, at just 500 yards west of Sugar Bird. Or just relax all day—but remember to watch for Dolphins inside the reef! Talk to the local fishermen whose mooring right next door allows you first choice of their fresh catch of Red Snapper, Lobsters, and other fresh local seafood. Recipe for Snapper—stuff and cover with chopped garlic and lemons, salt and pepper to taste, wrap in tin foil and put on grill for one hour at low medium heat.

You may never want to leave home once you arrive at Sugar Bird…but if you do, you can spend days exploring St. Croix’s historic towns and sites. You can shop in an array of exquisite local shops featuring the work of local artisans or duty-free items from around the globe. You can golf on one of the island’s two showcase 18-hole courses or its casual nine-hole course. Fine and casual dining opportunities abound on the island along with casual beach bars where you can relax and gaze at the ocean. Explore the island’s rainforests and other public and private beaches and snorkeling spots. Three National Parks, a National Forest, and other national points of interest are on St. Croix. Have a sailing and snorkeling adventure to Buck Island National Park with its fabulous beaches and reefs or stand on the spot where Christopher Columbus landed on his second trip to America in 1493 …and then take a sea kayak trip through the Mangrove coves of Salt River National Park. The outdoor opportunities are endless…

All homes are furnished including linens, towels, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Mid-stay maid service is provided one time per week for most bookings. A $500.00 damage deposit is required. Rates do not include an 8% Hotel Tax. 50% of the rental is required to confirm a reservation with the full balance due 45 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
